In association with the UM Police Department, Army ROTC, Air Force ROTC, UM Athletics, and UM VSO, we will be hosting a 9.11 mile memorial ruck on Saturday, September 11th.
Parking can be found at the Pavia Garage on the University of Miami Campus (address of the event). We will stage at the U Statue in front of the bookstore at 5:00am, departing for our ruck at 5:30am. Weight is standard 30#/20#, and there will be some team weight fun as well! If you have an American flag, bring it!
We ruck from the UM Coral Gables campus to the RSMAS campus on Key Biscayne following US-1 to the Rickenbacker Causeway. This is all sidewalks. We will end around 8:30am and prepare for a small memorial and moment of silence at 8:46am.
UPDATE:
Transportation back to where we parked at the Coral Gables campus of UM is on each participant. Uber, Lyft, or carpooling can all work. We recommend having a family member or friend meet you at the address below (our end point) at 8:30am to join us for the moment of silence and then drive you back to your vehicle.
